In August 1977, following a six year career in banking administration, with CIBC and Scotia Bank, Paul began his career in the mortgage brokerage industry. As a consultant with Security Mortgage Services, Paul gained valuable industry experience. After furthering his education he became Licensed as Mortgage Broker and a Mortgage Trust fund administrator in October 1988. Paul opened his own firm at that time, and continued his professional development obtaining first the SCMF designation from the Society of Mortgage Finance in 1991 and his CRF designation in 1993 from the Real Estate Institute of Canada, which he maintains through continuing education. In 2005 he added the AMP designation obtained from the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals Paul was president of the Ontario Mortgage Brokers Association from June 1994 through June 1995. Paul continues to add to his education in 2005 he earned his AMP designation from the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals. In 2007 Paul became accredited by the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association as a Certified Professional Mortgage Broker CPMB
